Exactly what is FireWorks Art Café?
Well, we don't have food and we don't sell fireworks...(sorry to disappoint those hungry, explosive searching customers). FireWorks Art Cafe is a place with a growing menu of artistic things to do. It's a story time place, a birthday place, it’s a diva or goddess place, a date place, a princess or pirate party place. It’s a place for kids, tweens, high-school seniors, SINKs, DINKs, families, moms, dads and babies and bloomers. EVERYONE is welcome to the newest shop in Damascus, a paint your own pottery studio that offers glass fusing too!
We are conveniently located on Ridge Road (formerly Roby’s Frame Shop*) in the heart of Damascus. Our walls are filled with more than 450 different
bisque designs (over 8,000 pieces!) and we're always ordering more. Come in, have a seat and paint your selected piece with our glazes, our supplies, stencils, stamps and if you're out of ideas we have plenty of techniques to share. You can pick up your piece in approximately 5-7 days after firing). As soon as we can we’ll be adding lampworking (making your own glass beads) to the “menu.” Even if you say,
“I can’t paint” "I'm not creative"
“I can’t draw”
I bet I have an easy technique that you'll be proud to say you did it! Everyone can create something shelf or wall worthy at our studio (and have a great time too).
