Any Thursday evening we have a scheduled beading class the studio will remain open to adult (over 18) pottery painters until 9pm. FireWorks Art Café is an eclectic art studio that includes paint your own pottery and glass fusing on a walk in basis, with jewelry making and a variety of 'how to' classes (crochet, knit and more) offered regularly. Conveniently located on Ridge Road/Route 27 in the heart of Damascus with free parking in the rear of the building, we are mere minutes away from Gaithersburg, Germantown, Clarksburg, Monrovia, Rockville and Mt. Airy.
 If you’re looking for something that’s fun for the entire family, with your friends, your kids or your partner, your playgroup, club or just a get-together -- from infant to infinity, this is the place. We have a huge selection of pottery to chose from and a very colorful selection of glass for your fusing projects. So, make something for yourself or as a gift.
 Creativity is not required, although most of the customers who come in and say - "oh, I'm not creative" - make the greatest pieces. But, just in case you need some help we have stencils, stamps, sponges and idea books galore. And if that isn’t enough, just tell us what you’re working on, your special occasion or a favorite sports team and we’ll help you along by providing drawings, special technique ideas and color selections (we'll even go online to find what you need). No artistic talent is required – just the desire to relax and be creative.
